Peaty misses out on another world record but easily wins his semi
Has there ever been a tinge of disappointment about a race win and the second fastest time in history?
After this morning's WR only the best will do for Adam Peaty. He wins his semi-final easily but fails (if you can do such a thing) to break his own world record.

Ok for Okolie
JEFF POWELL AT RIOCENTRO: Lawrence Okolie, the Londoner who
found it so difficult to pass a McDonald’s that he worked in one until
he was declared clinically obese, simply pounded his way around his
first opponent in the Olympic ring.
Okolie, who was serving and devouring hamburgers under that yellow sign during the London Olympics four years ago, racked up an overwhelming decision over Poland’s Igor Jakubowski.
That made it three wins out of three for Team GB on the first day of the Rio Games.
Okolie, who took up boxing more to lose 30 kilos than with any thought of Olympic glory, now finds himself in a huge second round bout on Monday night.
He faces the wonderfully skilled Cuban heavyweight Erislandy Savon, who was desperately unlucky not to be given the verdict over Anthony Joshua in the London Games.
Savon’s proven talent will make him favourite but the powerful, muscular, mobile Okolie will pesent a formidable physical challenge.
